"Reggae is not just played, it is lived."

That’s the motto that fuels Yango Roots, a band that embodies the very soul of roots reggae while bringing a fresh wave of island energy. Emerging from the south of Réunion Island, the group makes a bold statement in 2025 with their brand-new single, “Brother Soul.”

Brother Soul: A Jazzy, Spiritual Reggae Journey

Released on April 13, 2025, “Brother Soul” is more than just a song — it’s a spiritual statement, a tribute to unity, consciousness, and soul connection. With jazzy horn arrangements and smooth, soulful undertones, the track explores one of reggae’s deepest themes: spirituality.

This single marks a turning point for Yango Roots, showcasing both musical maturity and their signature blend of soul, jazz, and roots reggae — all while staying true to the genre’s essence.
